Ms. Ponzio is an associate divorce attorney at the firm of Vetrano & Vetrano, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Ms. Ponzio graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 2004, and from the University of Delaware in 2001. While in law school, Ms. Ponzio interned as a law clerk for the Honorable Rayford A. Means in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas where she took part in the preparation of legal opinions. Also, while in school she interned for The Federal Defender Association in their Habeas Corpus Unit, where she assisted in the drafting of a petition presented to the U.S. Supreme Court. Additionally, Ms. Ponzio served as a student attorney with Villanova University's Civil Justice Clinic, representing clients on issues relating to both child support and custody. Prior to graduation, Ms. Ponzio was presented with the Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono service as well as the Philadelphia Bar Association Award for Pro Bono service.
Following graduation from law school, Ms. Ponzio served as a law clerk for the Honorable Salvatore Bovino, J.S.C., in the New Jersey Superior Court, Family Division, where she acquired extensive experience in legal writing, including the preparation of legal opinions, court orders, and briefs. During her time as a law clerk, Ms. Ponzio was also trained and served as a certified mediator, resolving child custody, visitation and support disputes. Most recently, Ms. Ponzio was associated with a Philadelphia law firm, centering her practice on the defense of motor coach drivers and bus companies where she attained valuable courtroom experience and participated in all aspects of discovery, developing her ability to collect important information from your spouse necessary to resolve all family disputes fairly on behalf of her clients.
In 2005 Ms. Ponzio was admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a member of the family law sections of the Montgomery Bar Association (MBA) and the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA), as well as a member of the Young Lawyer's Section of the MBA. Ms. Ponzio is also a member of the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court in family law.
Ms. Ponzio's current practice centers around family law matters, including the areas of divorce, custody, equitable distribution, child support, alimony, spousal support, enforcement/modification of property settlement agreements, and pre-marital agreements.
