Wayne Family Lawyer, Lindsay H. Childs, Assists with Holiday Party for Victims of Domestic Violence

Wayne Family Law Attorney Lindsay Hanifan ChildsWayne, Pennsylvania – January 3 – On December 13, 2016, Wayne family lawyer Lindsay H. Childs, of Vetrano |Vetrano & Feinman, helped host a holiday party for families with children that have been impacted by domestic violence. In addition to refreshments, the party offered entertainment to the almost twenty children in attendance, including a magic show and a visit from Santa Claus. All of the children also received gifts to unwrap and take with them.
The holiday party was sponsored by the Montgomery Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, and was coordinated with Laurel House, a non-profit agency in Norristown, Montgomery County. Laurel House runs a hotline, emergency shelter and transitional housing for domestic violence victims, and provides various support services to those suffering from abuse. According to Laurel House statistics, almost 1 out of 15 children in the United States are exposed to domestic abuse. Laurel House helps provide necessary support for those children.
