Family Lawyer Sarinia Feinman Speaks at Montgomery Bar Association Family Law Section Program

King of Prussia, PA – May 8, 2023 — Vetrano | Vetrano & Feinman Family lawyer Sarinia M. Feinman recently spoke at a “Hot Tips” program at a Montgomery Bar Association Family Law Section (MBA FLS) Meeting on May 3. The meeting honored past members of the MBA FLS who served as Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section as well. The honored attorneys served in this role – Chairs of the PBA FLS – during the pandemic.

A “Hot Practice Tips” program followed, with various tips being given by a panel of past Chairs of the MBA FLS, including Ms. Feinman. The Honorable Daniel J. Clifford acted as Presenter of the program.

Ms. Feinman presented her Hot Tip in the area of real estate issues that impact divorce and support cases. Ms. Feinman advised attendees that in order for alimony to be included in their client’s income to qualify for a mortgage, so that they can complete the refinance of the marital home, the alimony must be received for more than three (3) years from the date of the closing on the refinance. Ms. Feinman also advised of creative “outside-the-box” ways to turn equitable distribution cash into income to be able to be used to qualify for a mortgage.

Ms. Feinman recently finished her term as President of the Montgomery Bar Association and currently remains involved as Immediate Past President. Ms. Feinman limits her practice to family law matters, including custody relocation matters and children’s rights issues. She has also served as President-Elect, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary of the MBA, and as Past Chair of both the Family Law Section and Young Lawyers’ Section. Ms. Feinman has received recognition as a Main Line Top Lawyer for the past 5 years.
