King of Prussia, Pennsylvania – September 30th – Sarinia Feinman, a Main Line family lawyer from Vetrano|Vetrano & Feinman LLC, was a Course Planner and Speaker at the September 20th PBI Program in Mechanicsburg, PA, and at the September 28th Program in Philadelphia, PA. The program provided attendees with a practical course on constructing their support cases, from the discovery process to calculating net income available for support. Attendees learned how to read both a personal and business tax return, as well as the various deviation arguments that can be made in a support case. The program specifically focused its efforts on appropriate add-backs and deductions to calculate the income of both the traditional and non-traditional wage earner.
Ms. Feinman drew upon her experiences as a family lawyer at Vetrano|Vetrano & Feinman LLC to construct a CLE course focused on practical and essential skills for family law practitioners.
The courts rely on accurate statements of income to calculate spousal and child support. Therefore, lawyers must know and understand how to substantiate their client’s income and confirm the opposing party’s income as well.
